It started off with us signing our lease for our new place and ended with me running five miles.
FIVE! MILES!
I know, I can’t believe it myself. (It’s been, like, four years since I’ve run that far.)
In between – we went to a concert, a wedding, and a Father’s Day brunch…
I’ve loved Switchfoot since I was a sophomore in high school. Aside from being awesomely talented, they are more than just pretty faces and catchy lyrics. (See: “When success is equated with excess/The ambition for excess wrecks us.”)
Summer festivals are the best. Especially ones with no seats – just lawn. Quintessential concert photo.
The next morning my cousin got married. I wore my new dress, see?
Apparently I don’t get sick of making him pose in photos with me.
Two of my sisters, Mike, and me. They called us “The Triplets” and one of my cousins couldn’t tell Emmie (purple dress) and I apart. Wow.
My 86-year-old grandpa was drinking a screwdriver. So I had to get one, too. Naturally.
