While Gabe was supposed to be napping this afternoon, I found myself perusing my TwitPic archives, marveling at what wee little nugget Gabe used to be.
I also found a photo of me taken exactly one year ago and had to share:
A year ago: Awkwardly large and pregnant. Probably about to go for a walk.
Today: With a reluctantly cuddly nearly-one-year-old. Probably about to play peek-a-boo.

Bahahahaaaaa. The FIRST thing I thought when I saw this was “WHY THE HECK IS SHE WEARING LONG SLEEVES!” Then I tried to think back to last August’s weather…. It was hot. Were you trying to sweat Gabe out?! ;)

I echo Suburban Sweetheart – I can’t believe it’s already been a year! It seems like just yesterday when you were grouping your “pregnancy week” posts together because you felt like there hadn’t been a whole lot happening to update on!
I was so hot the entire time I was pregnant, I can’t IMAGINE wearing long sleeves – especially in August! Gabe is such a cutie :)
A huge change, indeed! The long sleeves made me giggle too–our Texas August means weeks and weeks of triple digit weather, so phew!
I guess that shows how fast time passes. Happy soon to be first birthday to Gabe. :)
