Puerto Rico! I’ll tell you about it next week.
Whew. What a crazy cold week! Amiright, eastern half of the country? (Hush with your greenery, west coast.) (Just kidding, clear out your guest room for me.) I’m keeping my fingers crossed spring decides to come early, but am trying to embrace snow boots until then.
Here are some things I’ve found and read recently that I’ve found helpful or interesting.
If you also feel super distracted by social media: Unplugged Challenge – A Practical Wedding | “And even as I watch myself, and those around me, cramming our days with messages to check, alerts to read, and Pinterest boards to fill, I know those actions are not really our goal. We’re reading blogs because we crave smart conversation and connection. We’re pinning things to remind us of what our lives could be. We’re finding places online that we fit, to remind us of who we are.” – Something I’m totally relating to all the time, but particularly as of late. I’ve felt so foggy and distracted. I’ve been playing with different solutions, but always appreciate an honest take on the balance of connectedness with being present.
If you’re interested in minimalism: Living with Less – An inspiring visual graphic. Another great minimalism resource I’ve enjoyed is the Simple Life Together podcast.
